MiA. - is optimistic pop music on principle. Carried by front woman Mieze Katz and her unmistakable voice and energetic stage presence, the Berlin band has been producing timeless hits such as "Hungriges Herz", "Tanz der Moleküle" and "Fallschirm" for over three decades now. The almost sold-out "MiA. Live 2026" tour will be followed by the "Euphorie & Alltag LIVE" tour in spring 2027 with a further twelve dates in Germany and Austria.

MiA. have never been able to do anything other than constantly seek and find themselves anew. Even the radical changes away from CDs and music television to streaming platforms and digital marketing omnipresence have caused MiA. to rethink rather than despair. Making new things, learning from mistakes and, when it comes down to it, believing in the good - that's the MiA. credo. In this spirit, "Euphorie & Alltag", the band's eighth studio album, will be released in October 2026. In loud and quiet gestures, MiA. negotiate the omnipresent doubts against restless spinning, overconfidence and excessive demands, as well as the big picture in the small moments. The song "LOS", the first single from the new album and thus the first release on the band's own label EENEMEENE Records (distributed by SONY), is about unconditional anticipation, being taken by surprise and simply getting on with it. And wherever it goes on, there was and is of course also a beginning: originally founded in 1997 as "Me In Affairs", MiA. launched their career with the Berlin R.O.T. label and SONY Music. The debut album "Hieb und Stichfest" was released in 2002, followed by the LP "Stille Post" in 2004, on which one track in particular was to change the lives of all four founding members: With "Hungriges Herz", MiA. took part in the Eurovision Song Contest preliminary round in 2004 and from one day to the next were within reach of an audience of millions.

The band's history also includes numerous shows at renowned festivals such as Highfield, SonneMondSterne, Frequency, Deichbrand, Open Flair, Melt! and Rock am Ring as well as numerous headlining tours. After playing the most heavily attended MiA. tour in over ten years in spring 2026, the band will be making another stop in Germany and Austria in 2027 - then with the new album "Euphorie & Alltag" in their luggage.
