In the organizer's words:

#miasanda aims to fundamentally change the public debate on migration. Instead of continuing to view migration primarily through a deficit lens, we are focusing on the potential and talents of migrant women. We advocate a constructive, objective and respectful debate on the topic and firmly reject xenophobic hate speech, prejudice and stereotypes. These prevent peaceful coexistence and successful social development.

We want to critically question existing structures and show how migration and belonging in Germany can be rethought without being judged by others.

#miasanda puts migration's potential at the center and advocates for a respectful, forward-looking perspective on belonging in Germany.
