In the organizer's words:

MF Andrade is a Rotterdam-based artist with Cape Verdean roots. His taste in music is as diverse as his hometown itself - from Studio One to old-school hip-hop and Detroit house to the various musical styles of the entire African continent, especially those of his own Cape Verdean culture.

"My love for music is huge, but the music that is close to my culture permeates me deeply. Playing Cape Verdean music is always something special."

In addition to regular DJ sets in clubs / radio, MF Andrade founded the event series "Faroffa" in Rotterdam. The aim of the series is to unite the cultures of Brazil and Cape Verde in a lively setting with art, cuisine and music and to create a space for the community.
