Mitmachen, staunen, informieren: Transferale - das Berliner Wissenschaftsfestival für Klima & Gesundheit
In the organizer's words:
Science Meets the Neighborhood: At the Transferale Festival, Berlin’s research comes to life over five days—with a neighborhood festival, a “Campus of the Future,” and a Science Slam.
How can Kotti become safer? How does a pavilion stay cool without air conditioning? And what exactly does a breathing robot do in elder care? Answers to these and many other questions are available at the Transferale science festival—five days long, free of charge, interactive, and taking place at various locations throughout Berlin.
Highlights of the Week

Ten research projects to try out, one-on-one conversations with female scientists during a rickshaw tour through Berlin-Mitte—and starting at 7 p.m., the entertaining Science Slam, where female researchers have ten minutes to prove that their work truly makes a difference in Berlin. From textiles made from mushrooms to extracting water from the atmosphere.
