The youngest miller's son is left with only a tomcat as his heir. He wants to have the tomcat's fur made into gloves, but the tomcat persuades him to have boots made for him. The tomcat causes some confusion with his boots, but he manages to arrange everything so cleverly that in the end the formerly poor miller's son is rich and gets the princess as his bride.
What is play-along theater?
Play-along theater is a special form of theater in which an experienced actor tells a fairy tale and slips into the various fairy tale characters and roles.
The children experience the great art of acting at first hand, namely the role change - which the actor performs on stage in front of them. They can not only listen to the fairy tale with rapt attention, but also actively participate. They can call out their thoughts and ideas to the player on stage, who spontaneously integrates these impulses into the story. The children can also take part in many parts on stage themselves! This creates an interactive and lively theater play between the storyteller and the children.
