MKO-KAMMERMUSIKFEST

A long summer evening in the elegant rooms of Villa Stuck. The musicians of the MKO will perform in various chamber music formations, ranging from duos to large ensembles. They will be joined by Associated Conductors Enrico Onofri and Bas Wiegers—who will be performing as instrumentalists alongside the orchestra members for the first time—as well as baritone Holger Falk and Alexander Lonquich, a close musical friend of the orchestra for many years.

Born out of the orchestra members’ desire to once again present their chamber music activities on a larger scale, the first two editions of this format in 2017 and 2019 were already a sensational success. An enthusiastic audience listened to the chamber music performances in the various rooms of Villa Stuck from 6:00 p.m. until late into the night and also had the opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in conversation over food and drink in the garden of the “Prince of Painters’” residence.

Now, to mark the MKO’s 75th anniversary, a new edition of the event is being held.

Due to the museum’s unique spatial layout, admission to individual musical performances is limited.
