On October 31, 2025, at 7.30 pm, Wolfgang J. Gerlach from Essen will be reading from his post-factual crime parody "Monsieur Acheseau and the Murder on the Sauerland Express", inspired by a bestseller, as part of a dinner in our literature café and restaurant

On the occasion of the inauguration of the ZugCafé on the Sauerland Express (RE 17) on the route from Warburg to Hagen, a group of illustrious passengers has gathered. When Sèrecule Acheseau, the famous detective, is awakened by a scream, he immediately realizes what must have happened: a murder - bestially carried out by a multitude of stab wounds. Only... There is no trace of a body. Together with Monsieur Trouc (a railroad official) and Dr. Wilhelm Piepenbrink (a former vet, now a bottle collector), the Frenchman, who also claims to have solved the "Death on the Ruhr", sets about solving the case.
