Lovers, disguises, and desperate suitors—Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” is pure delight! Viola, stranded on the coast of Illyria, disguises herself as a man and enters the service of Duke Orsino. He promptly assigns her the role of love messenger to win over the heart of Countess Olivia. The inevitable happens: Viola falls in love with Orsino, and Olivia with Viola. This turbulent love triangle has been delighting audiences for over 400 years.

This year, the Munich Summer Theater in the English Garden is once again bringing this true classic to the “meadow that represents the world” under the open sky, and cordially invites you to the beautiful amphitheater in the English Garden.
