Rediscover NRW: MuseumMobil will be stopping at Schadowplatz from August 22 to 30. Our “Collectors’ Saturday” will take place on August 29.

The history of North Rhine-Westphalia is as diverse as its regions and its people. What makes North Rhine-Westphalia unique? What stories shape our state in its various regions? What inspires people in rural areas and in the cities?

Our MuseumMobil travels throughout North Rhine-Westphalia to bring the state’s history to life in different locations. In our quest to explore our state’s history, we’re bringing our mobile exhibition right to you:

From August 22 to 30, we’ll be stopping at Schadowplatz in Düsseldorf. We invite you to rediscover North Rhine-Westphalia, share memories, and engage in conversation with one another. Free admission. 
 

On Saturday, August 29, our “MuseumMobil Collection Saturday” will take place at the Haus der Universität from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. On Collection Saturday, we’ll be “collecting” your stories. Do you have an object at home that tells a piece of NRW’s history? We’re looking for items from the period between 1946 and the present—such as objects from Düsseldorf that tell stories about everyday life, sports, the economy, or other facets of the state’s history.
