At the concert by CAT—the Melodic Jazz Trio—the audience can expect an exciting mix of jazz, pop, and funk pieces, all original compositions that the trio performs with energy at times and lyrical virtuosity at others.

As experienced musicians, Sandra Staiger on bass brings her expertise from classical, big band, and pop music, while Jan Simen adds his hard bop-style drumming and Cyrus Achouri his guitar playing in a blend of classical, jazz, and rock. Sometimes virtuosic, sometimes ballad-like, but always melodic—that’s what makes this trio’s music such a special musical blend.

The concert is part of Open Monument Day, during which the Mohr Villa opens its doors at 2:00 p.m. and invites visitors to explore and experience the venue through various activities.
