Live sessions, real sounds & a unique atmosphere

Musikgarten is a series of concerts at the Areal Böhler, where international artists perform in a unique atmosphere. The concerts take place in Building 09 - an extraordinary location with industrial charm.

Since 2024, Musikgarten has already brought many different artists to the stage: from Dutch superstar Douwe Bob and Australian songwriting sensation Asha Jefferies to local greats such as Lina Maly and zeck. The unconventional and high-quality selection has already delighted more than 5,000 spectators.

To capture these special moments, selected concerts are accompanied by a high-quality video production and published on the festival's own social media channels.

This extraordinary concert series will continue this year. You can look forward to innovative acts from the singer-songwriter, indie pop and electro genres.

Concert tickets are deliberately priced fairly at €15 so that this unique musical experience remains accessible to as many people as possible.

About the artist:

Over the past ten years, Ed Prosek has released music with incredible focus and diligence, releasing a series of EPs and singles at a rapid pace. In the process, he has quietly amassed over 100 million streams, driven by perennial favorites like "The Mountain", "Holy Water", "The Other Side", "The Garden" and many more. After the EP "The Foreigner" from 2023, he teamed up with Portair under the name Driftwood Choir and released a well-received, self-titled debut album in 2025. In addition to amassing tens of millions of streams and earning major voiceover placements on shows like Grey's Anatomy, Prosek received praise from Up To Hear, Headliner and others.

At the same time, Ed was carefully crafting what would become his debut album "Redwood Cathedral" [Nettwerk Music Group] in 2026. His delicate soundscapes, gentle rhythms and open-hearted lyrics spring directly from the inner dialog of the California-born, Black Forest-based troubadour. At his most vulnerable, he delivers a vibrant and powerful work characterized by raw honesty, fearless intimacy and an open heart. On stage, Ed Prosek takes his songs to a new level, focusing on the raw material of the songs themselves, often reinterpreting them to suit the venue. He has previously opened for The Strumbellas, Hollow Coves, Novo Amor, Amber Run, Heather Nova and Lindsey Stirling and has completed countless headline tours across Europe, the UK and Ireland.
