A deserted pool area: three performers inside. They dream other people's vacation dreams. KFC suite becomes a performative tour operator and offers an all-inclusive package: A music-infused farce about splashing around and longing unfolds within an end-time, multimedia-installative vacation ecosystem.
VACA VACA focuses on the social and ecological consequences of tourism. While lying under the sun, KFC suite pose questions about work, being overwhelmed, the environment, technology and decay.
In search of relaxation, they push themselves to their limits and approach the three complexes of community, justice and sustainability with humor, hyperpop and horror.
They have earned this vacation. And now it's here. Nothing can go wrong now. But the pool is tilting - has long since tilted; and yet it continues.
Following the world premiere in May 2025 at zeitraumexit, KFC suite are presenting the revival as a special edition and inviting you to an installative open-air opera.
