Mut

In the organizer's words:

Departure: A young person feels that something is missing and ventures out in search of a new path. All around him: voices, movements, possibilities. Feeling his way, he takes one step after the other. He tries, fails, realigns himself and discovers a strength that grows within him. At his side: longing. It opens up spaces, draws him onwards and lets him feel what is possible. Along the way, they meet others and experience how fear turns into curiosity and hearts open up. They realize that the strength needed to turn the tide and start anew is created through togetherness. In powerful images, MUT tells of the joy of setting out, of finding one's own rhythm, of community and of moments in which hesitation becomes movement. A physical play about trusting your own path and having the courage to follow it.

Theater Grenzenlos was founded ten years ago with the aim of giving young refugees a platform to express themselves and to help them integrate into society through artistic work. Since then, we have created numerous plays that have been performed at schools, theaters and cultural venues in Munich and Bavaria.
