The new play by Theater Grenzenlos about new beginnings and the joy of growing

"Courage" is a poetic play about people by the sea who have settled into a life of waiting, while the sea murmurs in the background as a constant source of longing. Only one of them still looks out toward the horizon. He senses that beyond the fog there might be more than just stagnation. Slowly, they begin to move again, start listening to one another once more, and discover: the unfamiliar broadens horizons, curiosity overcomes fear, and openness leads to community.

Through shadow play, wind, music, and powerful physical imagery, a poetic theatrical evening unfolds about longing, community, and the power to find hope again. “MUT” tells the story of looking ahead, trusting one another, and taking that first step together.

Theater Grenzenlos was founded ten years ago with the goal of providing young refugees with a platform to express themselves and, through artistic work, to facilitate their integration into society. Since then, numerous plays have been created and performed at schools, theaters, and cultural centers in Munich and Bavaria.
