Dear Vorhof-Flimmern fans!

How do you announce a crowd favorite? Honestly, there’s hardly any greater praise in advance than being voted number one by the guests at the Vorhof-Flimmern concerts. That speaks for itself. But of course, being at the top also raises expectations—and means living up to them once again, and ideally even exceeding them. I have no doubt that they’ll succeed.

And I’m sure we’re all glad that the temperatures of the last few weeks have finally dropped a bit, yet there’s still a real summer vibe in the air. That makes me look forward all the more to another kind of warmth that you can never get enough of: MIRTA. Originally from Cuba, this musician treats us to Latin American rhythms infused with the spirit of soul and funk. She’s an internationally sought-after artist who has already shared the stage with Joe Cocker, R. Kelly, Jennifer Paige, Gentleman, Jan Delay, Stefanie Heinzmann, and many other big names.

The fact that she’s performing on our little Vorhof-Flimmern stage is a real gift for us. With her humble demeanor, she shares a vibrant, heartfelt musical experience with us that makes this summer—no matter how it unfolds—even more beautiful. MIRTA will be accompanied by the gifted musicians Raciel Estrada Rodriguez on piano and Renis Mendosa on percussion. What a summer! Summertime—and the livin’ is easy
