La Haine - Hate
One morning in some social housing ghetto: after a night of violence between a group of youths and the police, the settlement is in a state of emergency. There is a war between the two parties! The reason? A sixteen-year-old struggles with death after being brutally beaten up during a police interrogation. Just another case of state terror, just another fight against the establishment? Driven by hatred of the system, Hubert, Said and Vinz are also on the front line on a day that will change their lives...
