Nature Writing Festival: Nature Writing in der Lyrik (Daniela Danz)

As part of the Nature Writing Festival, the Rathauspassage invites you to a reading and discussion with Daniela Danz (discussion leader: Hella Kemper):

"Come wilderness into our homes / break the windows / ... throw your rustling dew on us" - for poet Daniela Danz, it is not only foliage that is the messenger of the wild; rising sea levels, destructive earth tremors, "water desert weather" are also powerful parts of the counter-worlds of our civilization. For Danz, the wilderness that surrounds and undermines us opens our senses to ourselves, our thoughts and feelings. Perceiving the wilderness can lead us out of the social wastelands. She will read from her poems and looks forward to exchanging ideas with the audience. Journalist and author Hella Kemper will lead the subsequent discussion.
