NeoTango With Livemusic aus Buenos Aires
In the organizer's words:
Curious about tango, but not sure where to start?
This evening is the perfect opportunity to discover NeoTango in an open, welcoming, and accessible atmosphere.
Unlike more traditional tango settings, NeoTango often feels more approachable for newcomers. It preserves the beauty of connection, musicality, and partner dancing, but allows for more freedom, more openness to the music, and a more relaxed way of entering the dance. You don’t need to have any prior experience, set expectations, or feel like you already “know tango” before joining. It’s a space to explore, learn, and enjoy.
On July 28 at La Cantina Düsseldorf, Aube Bentele and Cédric Tellier will lead the evening with a workshop on Easy Volcadas, making the dance accessible both to beginners and to dancers who want to deepen their movement and connection. The evening begins with an Introduction to Tango, followed by a Beginners Class, Open Lessons, and the main workshop.
Later, enjoy a beautiful live music set featuring singer Paloma Barrales and pianist Amalia Escobar, and keep dancing into the night with DJ Cédric Tellier.
The event is by donation, so everyone can participate as they see fit, and there will also be an open bar and buffet, creating a warm and social atmosphere beyond the dance floor.
Come alone, with friends, or with a partner—everyone is welcome.
