Change or preservation - innovation or tradition? When Antonín Dvořák composed his ninth symphony "From the New World", he was putting his first impressions of the United States into music - a new world for him at the time. Today, this piece is an absolute classic, an evergreen with a long tradition firmly anchored in the orchestral repertoire. In its symphony concert New World Now, the Klang Ensemble Köln transforms this musical monument into a new, lively musical experience, unexpected for both the audience and the orchestra itself: With the two award-winning soloists and musical globetrotters Konstantin Reinfeld on harmonica and Benyamin Nuss on piano, Dvořák's famous Ninth and Benyamin Nuss' new and groovy "Concertino for Harmonica, Piano and Orchestra" create a concert full of musical surprises.
