The Debacker/Marchetti duo dedicate themselves to a fascinating composition that uses space as a central element. The careful arrangement of loudspeakers and sound volumes creates an acoustic resonance that forms the basis of their musical work. In their duet, the sounds of the piano merge with synthetic tones and create a multi-layered soundscape. The precise staging of the loudspeaker projection allows the work to be heard from a central point, creating an immersive listening experience.

Marlies Debacker and Lionel Marchetti first met in 2019. Their collaboration is intended to be long-term and is constantly evolving. Marchetti's extensive experience as a French composer of contemporary music, musique concrète and acousmatic music is combined with Debacker's flexible improvisation. Together they create a multifaceted music in which the fusion of piano and electronics takes center stage.
