merkste selbst - Nico Stank's first stage program is a modern, multimedia mix of stand-up and live comedy combined with a whole lot of humour, interaction, pigeon content, everyday madness, live parodies and, of course, Nicola will also be stopping by.

Nico Stank, born in the Ruhr area, discovered his love for acting and comedy while still at school. After being a permanent member of the young ensemble at Schauspielhaus Bochum, he trained as a musical performer in 2009. Nico has lived in Berlin since 2013, where he works as an actor, dubbing artist and stand-up comedian.

After various engagements, Nico's turbulent world came to a brief standstill when the pandemic hit: but instead of letting it get him down, he put a smile on the faces of his followers on social media every day and entertained them with his unmistakable style.

In 2019, Nico created his fictional character Nicola and really found and accepted himself for the first time. On stage and on social media, he tries to be a role model for his followers with self-irony and courage. Through the encouragement of his rapidly growing community, Nico has learned how important it is to be yourself and that it is okay to show this in all its diversity.

On Instagram, Nico makes hundreds of thousands of users laugh every day by making
hilarious re-enactments of everyday situations. These videos resulted in millions of clicks, so that film producers also became aware of his talent: This landed him roles in major movie productions. In 2021, Nico was cast for one of the leading roles in the new Dorris Dörrie film Freibad and was in front of the camera alongside Elyas M ́Barek for Liebesdings, directed by Anika Decker.
