In the organizer's words:
At the opening concert of the Lower Rhine Music Festival, internationally acclaimed recorder player and multiple OPUS-Klassikaward winner Stefan Temmingh, together with harpist Margret Koell, combines the splendor of Baroque sounds with contemporary works to create a poetic journey through five centuries of music, full of virtuosity and surprising sonic stories.
With nine recorders and three harps, a richly colorful soundscape unfolds, ranging from Bach to Piazzolla.
