In the organizer's words:
Have you ever noticed that ancient sculptures are often missing their noses? In this project at the University of Leipzig’s Museum of Antiquities, you’ll have the chance to get to the bottom of this mystery.
Together, we’ll explore the Museum of Antiquities and learn about Greek and Roman busts.
After the tour, you can craft brand-new noses—maybe then our Greek and Roman busts will be a little less sad about losing their noses. But be careful: Don’t let the busts know that you’re taking the noses home with you at the end!
- Participation fee: 1 euro with a vacation pass, 5 euros without a vacation pass
- Recommended for children ages 5 and up
