The Night of the Proms is a unique music event in Europe. The show has been delighting a steadily growing fan base in Germany since 1994. This is where classical music meets pop, arias meet chart hits, suits meet leather jackets, stilettos meet Chucks and Tchaikovsky meets Boy George.

Like no other event, the Night of the Proms stands for building bridges between all musical genres. It is precisely this mixture that sets it apart from all other concerts and gives it an incomparable experience. The fact that every year many of the more than 100,000 people secure tickets for the shows in advance without knowing which star guests await them is an expression of the trust fans have placed in the quality of the shows, which has grown over the years and been confirmed time and again.

The tour organizer does not see itself as a missionary for classical music. "Our credo is: the best of 300 years of popular music," says the Munich-based tour organizer, describing the idea behind it. Neither the musical genre nor the composer plays the decisive role. What is presented is music that inspires and that was or is very popular at the time. "If you look at the records of Mozart's life, there are many parallels to today's pop stars," adds Vereecke. It is precisely this mixture that the Night of the Proms thrives on.
