In the organizer's words:
Peter Haas (piano and vocals) plays his own songs and compositions, somewhere between classical, jazz, pop and musical - and doesn't really want to place himself anywhere. His pieces often arise from improvisations or lead to them, just like his singing, which never quite wants to stick to fixed lyrics.
NIMM PLATZ am Neumarkt is a joint project of Cologne's cultural administration and the independent cultural scene, with contributions from the University of Music and Dance (HfMT) and the Academy of Media Arts (KHM).
