The Interstring Project
Flickering lights, flying guitars and pulsating bass: welcome to The Interstring Project's NOISE CIRCUS.
The experimental electric guitar quartet frees itself from cables and effects pedals and stages its new program as a sound performance between progressive rock show and contemporary dance.
For each composition (works by Katarina Gryvul, Lou Kilger, Francisco Uberto and original compositions), the four musicians have developed movement sequences together with choreographer Ria Rehfuß that reflect the special features of the music in three-dimensional space: as if running in ecstasy, as video game characters or tightly entwined in eternal slow motion.
NOISE CIRCUS stands for playfulness and organized chaos - an expressive performance, immersive lighting design and the extraordinary sound world of The Interstring Project provide a unique audiovisual experience.

Our solidarity pricing system applies to selected events in the performing arts - dance, theater, performance and contemporary circus. We want more people to be able to attend our events. We have therefore opted for a price system based on mutual support: Those who can afford culture without having to count are invited to pay more than others. This makes a visit to E-WERK possible for many, while at the same time the artists you see on our stages receive a share of the income. A fair fee is also linked to a fair ticket price. Your ticket purchase helps to pay for our work fairly. Our solidarity pricing system is based on your self-assessment. Proof of concessions is not necessary.
