Nordic Swans

Back in Cologne: After standing ovations and their great concert success with "Nutcracker Reimagined" in 2023, the Baltic Sea Philharmonic and Kristjan Järvi returnto the Kölner Philharmonie with their new program "Nordic Swans" . In a tribute to one of nature's noblest creatures, the swan, they will once again transform the concert hall into a wonderfully mystical atmosphere.

The evening is all about the swan, which is valued in Nordic culture as a symbol of purity, beauty, elegance and strength. With "Nordic Swans" , the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, in cooperation with Nordic Pulse, shows how the classical concert can be redesigned. The program is performed from memory, allowing the musicians to move freely on stage. This liveliness is enhanced by an atmospheric and dynamic lighting design.
