We’re celebrating summer and cordially invite you to our Summer Festival. Let’s enjoy an unforgettable summer evening together!

Starting at 6:00 PM, DJ Elbowski will kick off the evening with groovy beats. At 7:00 PM, Marek Klippendichter will take the stage as the opening act and get the audience in the mood for the rest of the evening.

Marek Klippendichter brings a unique blend of words, fragments of thought, and sketches—with and without musical accompaniment—to the stage, transforming language into a special experience.

Afterward, the Super Session kicks off with DJ Lub! and various live musicians—an open musical exchange full of improvisation and creative energy. Bring your instrument and join in.

Delicious soul food will be served. Plus, two exciting workshops await you:

Come on by, experience music, art, and new connections in a relaxed atmosphere, and help shape the evening with us!

The opening act will be livestreamed starting at 7:00 p.m. at youtube.com/machbarschaftborsig11. Afterward, the stage is open for the open jam session. Bring your instrument and join in!

Participation is free, and there is free admission.

The Nordstadt Sessions are a project by Julia Rumi / Machbarschaft Borsig11 e. V. in cooperation with the BVB-Gründerkirche, supported by the State Music Council of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Dortmund Cultural Office, and brought to life with the help of residents of the Borsigplatz neighborhood.
