Elly Vex & Danny Thomas combine raw, distorted punk rock riffs with catchy pop melodies to create the characteristic thrash-power-pop sound of MANNEQUIN DEATH SQUAD. The infectiously energetic indie-punk duo from Melbourne, Australia, are prized for their radical do-it-yourself (DIY or DIE!) mentality; the band's latest album was released in 2025 via their own record label 'Riot Love Records' after their 2022 debut was co-produced with legendary Australian producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, INXS, The Angels, Divinyls).

Live, the pair switch positions on guitar & drums extensively, delivering wild, infectious performances that leave a trail of enthusiastic, passionate fans around the world in their wake: from SXSW Sydney to Rebellion Festival (UK) or support shows for NENA in Amsterdam and SOULFLY in France to a headlining slot at Ziro Festival in the picturesque foothills of the Himalayas in Aranachal Pradesh, India. A highlight was being handpicked by Mike Muir to join his SUICIDAL TENDENCIES on their sold-out Australian tour in 2023.
