The alternative rock sensation from Sweden

Normandie have long since ceased to be an insider tip. The Swedish band led by singer Philip Strand has been shaking up the European alternative scene for ten years now. With almost 17 million views on Spotify alone, "White Flag" has already become an anthem that no 2010 alternative rock playlist should be without. Their current album "Dark & Beautiful Secrets" (2022) now has over 30 million streams on Spotify, which is reflected in a steadily growing and loyal fanbase.

After shows at festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Download and Slam Dunk as well as tour support for The Faim, Yellowcard, Takida and a co-headline tour with Hands Like Houses, Normandie have already proven themselves as a seasoned headliner in recent years. They tour Germany almost every year, delighting their fans with a breath of fresh air and a live show that promises not only great closeness to the fans, but above all thrilling moments full of emotion and explosiveness. It's no wonder that the band's songs are sung along loudly by the fans.

Founded back in 2013, Normandie managed to make a name for themselves early on in their native Sweden. Internationally, the release of their debut album "Inguz", which features the band's logo, became a key event in 2016. Not only did the band's logo increasingly find its way into a dedicated fanbase in the form of tattoos - with their unique sound between atmospheric metalcore and rocking post-hardcore, the band quickly played their way into the hearts of their audience that same year as support for Yellowcard. It soon became clear that Normandie didn't need support slots to tour successfully - they won headliner status early on.

The album "White Flag" , released in 2018, marked a further step in the band's development. Normandie are gradually moving away from their metalcore affinity of the early days and reveal a modern interpretation of their sound on their latest album "Dark & Beautiful Secrets " in 2021, which now impresses with bombastic alternative rock and subtly placed post-hardcore borrowings. With catchy choruses, driving beats and a flair for great momentum, tracks like "Babylon" and "Jericho" effortlessly burn themselves into the listener's memory. Normandie have once again demonstrated their ability to write emotionally catchy tunes full of authenticity without sounding pathetic with their latest single "Blood In The Water". With this song, the trio take the next logical step in their musical development. With an authentic drive towards pop, ultra-modern production, danceable beats and ecstatic rock influences, the band from Sweden repeatedly reinvents itself.

After a successful headline tour in 2022, Normandie will return to Germany in early 2024 for five shows in Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich and Berlin, their biggest headline shows in Germany to date.
