»Notizen zu einer Rückkehr nach Syrien« – Interkulturkino

Two months after the fall of the Assad regime, Catherine Estrade and Vincent Commaret accompany their Syrian friends Mohammed and Mariam on their first trip back home. With their camera, they document neighborhoods in Damascus that have been razed to the ground. And they find signs of hope: a girls' choir singing revolutionary songs, vegetable gardens amidst the ruins. Will a peaceful life be possible here?
