The North Rhine-Westphalia Day (NRW Day) will take place in Cologne on August 17 and 18, 2024. This will be the first time that the state's birthday and one of the biggest festivals in NRW will be celebrated in our metropolis on the Rhine.
The citizens' festival, jointly organized by us and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, offers a wide range of activities for all Cologne residents and guests from all over the state with a varied stage program, numerous exhibitors and hands-on activities.
Under the motto "Connected together - Generation NRW", NRW Day 2024 will be an experience for everyone. This year, the annual Cologne Volunteer Day will also be integrated into NRW Day. The state government's traditional summer concert will also take place in Cologne for the first time on the weekend of the event.
We recommend that you travel to the event by public transport. The KVB stops Heumarkt, Ubierring and Schönhauser Straße are located close to the event site.
There are also sufficient bicycle parking spaces available on the event site, the location of which can be found on the site map.
