different funky cover music
NuPosition, the funky cover band with a difference, has developed a special style mix of groovy songs from different genres over the course of its more than 20 years of existence. We don't just limit ourselves to the standard soul and funk hits that have been covered so often, but also like to play 90s acid-jazz club hits, sometimes go for German-language hi-hop or go back to the 80s, because there was cool music back then too. The "Nu" instead of "New" in our band name indicates that we are just as devoted to the neo-soul and nu-funk of the 2000s as we are to the traditional sound of Godfather James Brown from the 70s.
