Our public guided tours take you on a 30-minute tour of the current F.C. Gundlach exhibition. Whether it's a creative lunch break, a cultural after-work event or a quiet weekend - we have an exhibition tour to suit everyone!
Come with us on a journey of discovery through the world of 20th century photography: the focus is on the multifaceted work of photographer F.C. Gundlach, who has had a decisive influence on the image of fashion and the ideas of trends, identity and gender in German and international magazines since the 1950s. His iconic fashion photographs, experimental shots and sometimes never-before-seen works are juxtaposed in the exhibition with works by his companions and successors, including Richard Avedon, Erwin Blumenfeld, Regina Relang and Cindy Sherman. Discover how closely photography is interwoven with cultural and social developments and how much Gundlach influenced a vibrant photography scene as well as our understanding of images today as a photographer, collector and patron.
