The exhibition "Gemütlichkeit und Moderne. Cologne 1918-1926" at the Cologne City Museum takes a look at the exciting and moving period from 1918-1926: from the end of the war and the British occupation to urban society, leisure and art. Cologne is on the move - and at the same time cherishes its traditions. An oscillation between coziness and modernity, between Veedel and metropolis.

The exhibition was created in cooperation with the Institute for Regional Studies and Regional History of the Rhineland Regional Association and the Rhenish-Westphalian Economic Archive Foundation in Cologne.
