The three sailors Gabey, Chip and Ozzie have twenty-four hours ashore in New York. They don't need to be told twice! Off they go on a fast-paced foray through the city that never sleeps, but instead holds so much promise that each of the three gentlemen is soon chasing his own adventure...
With "On the Town", the young Leonard Bernstein made a glittering, musical declaration of love to New York, the city of his dreams, and its people.
