Opa war kein Nazi - Meine Familie in der NS-Zeit

What role did your own ancestors play in National Socialism? This workshop offers an introduction to archival research work and shows ways to bring the often concealed stories of perpetrators' ancestors to light. It is assumed that one's own family history is often unknown or incomplete. Together we will look at how family narratives are created, how files can be deciphered and what significance this work has for dealing with the past. The workshop will be conducted by Martin Wähler. He is a trade union secretary at the united services trade union ver.di and is active in the action alliance "widersetzen".
