In the organizer's words:
Amusing, cheeky and full of charm: for once, "Carmen", "Turandot" and Wagner's "Ring" are not celebrated with pomp and circumstance, but rather amusingly interwoven into an opera program with a difference. The successful production "Operas in Bavarian" has been a firm fixture on the repertoire for almost 40 years, thanks in part to the legendary trio of Conny Glogger, Gerd Anthoff and Michael Lerchenberg. This season's performances at the Prinzregententheater are a real treat: the protagonists will be supported by the "Queen of Cabaret", Monika Gruber, at the start of the season!
