As November reaches its darkest hours, Hamburg’s death-doom veterans Ophis invite you to Bambi galore for the release of their new album “Encased In Deathlike Layers.”

For over two decades, Ophis have stood for monolithic death doom that oscillates between despair, force, and catharsis. With their new work, the Hamburg-based band opens another chapter—heavy, dark, and relentless, just as the title suggests. After five studio albums and countless concerts in Europe’s doom catacombs, this evening will mark the official debut of the new material on home turf.
