If Oskar Haag were writing his memoirs right now, the title would probably be: "From a nursery in the provinces to Austria's biggest pop hope in less than two years." First a brilliant start with a much acclaimed first performance at 15 still, then the founding of his own record company and the release of his first hit "Stargazing" at just 16. And now, just one and a half years later, Haag can already look back on a total of four singles, each of which has reached the top of the charts of the cult radio station Fm4, something no one before him has ever managed. In addition, massive airplay at home and abroad (about more than a hundred appearances on Amazing Radio US & UK), meanwhile already more than a million Spotify downloads, an almost sold-out own Austrian tour, as well as celebrated support shows for AVEC and just now for the world star Birdy.
Then in March of this year, the now 17-year-old multi-talent released the debut album "Teenage Lullabies", which was acclaimed hymnally by the international press, and thus just like that enters the Austrian sales charts at number 6. To crown this almost uncanny success story, Haag also wins Austria's biggest music prize, the Amadeus Award as Fm4 Act of the Year. And, as the very youngest Amadeus winner ever!
Oh yes, that Haag is currently working as the undisputed star of a Shakespeare production at the largest theater in Europe, the Vienna Burgtheater, as a musician and actor, and has also gained a foothold in Austrian film as an actor, that should be mentioned here only in passing.
