OSMIUM is not a show, but a quake

Classical strings, pounding rhythms, Indonesian ethno-punk and electronic forces of sound collide in the open air. Oscar-winning composer Hildur Guðnadóttir, vocal artist Rully Shabara, sound designer Sam Slater and producer James Ginzburg come together in the middle of the casting hall at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord - and create an audiovisual experience between nature, industry and a state of emergency. All supported by a spectacular light show - and with the force of a musical volcanic eruption. An evening for open ears, wide spaces and deep basses.

The Ruhrtriennale is the festival of the arts in the Ruhr region - a celebration for all those who long for tomorrow. Touching experiences of music theater, drama, dance and more are created between machine halls and blast furnaces.
