Learn to sketch and paint with watercolour outside by direct observation. Do you struggle with perspective and creating depth in your drawing and painting? Then this workshop is the perfect chance to learn the basics of one-point perspective by sketching directly outside in the green heart of Dusseldorf. Join us for a 2 hours painting workshop where you learn to see shapes, angles and perspective in front of you and then bring them onto your paper using free and loose watercolour brush strokes. I will show you step by step with easy instructions to follow.

How to simplify outdoor landscape by painting large shapes
How to paint urban landscape in realistic abstraction style
Basics rules of one-point perspective
Dynamic composition in painting
Measure sizes, angles and draw accurately using your pencil
Value design (lightness and darkness)
Painting tools for outdoor painting with watercolour
Watercolour techniques such as wet on wet and dry on dry
How to create depth details and color intensity
This workshop is designed for beginners to intermediate levels and you don't need any previous experience with watercolour or outdoor painting.
Best quality painting materials are also provided and you only need to bring your enthusiasm for art and creativity and your eagerness to learn new skills.
This is an outdoor workshop organized in Hofgarten. Make sure you check the weather conditions one day before the workshop to have suitable clothing and sun protection. A foldable stool is also handy or a small blanket to sit outside comfortably. The workshop is in English but I also speak German, Farsi and Turkish directly with you if you prefer.
