For over 10 years, Stefan has been traveling through the countries along the ancientSilk Road —first as a development aid worker, later as a tour guide. Whether bybike, on horseback, or on foot, his journeys have taken him through Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. In his talk, he’ll share stories of breathtaking landscapes, personal encounters, long-standing friendships, and the changes taking place in the region.
