Parisian singer Lila Despoix, pianist Sebastian Wappler and cellist Johann von Ruthendorf met at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden - and quickly developed a common musical language.
Their repertoire combines jazz, folk and soul with the lyrical elegance of French chanson and their own compositions, which are sometimes full of poetry, sometimes full of energy and joy of playing.

OUTED is the joint project of Noémie, actress and visual artist, and Fred, songwriter and musician. Together, they have combined their artistic worlds to create a luminous, colorful and poetic pop, carried by perceptive lyrics that reflect their time with a trenchant and playful imagination all their own.

What is balfolk?
Balfolk is a vibrant European dance culture that has its origins in French folklore. A balfolk evening is open and inviting. No previous knowledge is required. Many dances are briefly demonstrated on the spot. The music ranges from traditional melodies to modern compositions with influences from classical, jazz or world music.

The Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, the Palais Sommer will take place on Dresden's Neumarkt from June 20 to July 26. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.
