Folding, tearing, building in the Hartmannfabrik: an invitation to children and adults to build a huge, imaginative world out of cardboard and paper together.

A forest of cardboard is growing in the Hartmannfabrik, with tall trees, everything is made of cardboard. Paper rustles like leaves, light falls through a self-made canopy of leaves. Children and adults are not spectators here - they design and build the forest themselves. They tear, glue, fold and invent stories. Figures are created that can change according to their emotional state. Paper Planet is not a finished play to watch, it is an invitation to children and adults to become creative themselves - and to create their own planet and bring it to life.
The Polyglot Theatre from Melbourne offers a do-it-yourself theater experience in which play, art and performance merge. The Australian artists accompany, react and provide impulses without directing or explaining. Children decide for themselves whether they want to build quietly, observe or throw themselves into the middle of the action. The forest grows from day to day, with each participant leaving their own footprint in the landscape.
The Hartmannfabrik opens its doors for four full days for this interactive theater action. The Australian artists offer a sensual, open experience for different generations. The Polyglot Theatre is internationally renowned for extraordinary art formats for children and families. The Polyglot Theatre is invited to a non-public event at the end of its guest performance at the Terra Nova Campus - Die Entdeckerschule. The installation and participatory performance can be experienced once again especially for pupils on the campus. Directly at the place where they learn, live and reside.
