Anyone who has experienced the first two Tenors Summits knows that you can't get enough of these energetic summit meetings. For the third time, Paul Heller invites colleagues, companions and friends to join him in grooving rhythm, melody, harmony and sound. Tony Lakatos was already at the second Tenor Summit, "I practically grew up with him", enthuses Heller. Peter Weniger and Denis Gäbel are two heavyweights who shine both with their own ensembles and as accomplished big band protagonists. All stand for individual class, emotional depth and brilliant virtuosity - and follow the philosophy once formulated by Weniger: "Being part in the act of creation". With three "saxophone savants" as a rhythm section, they can draw on the full range of possibilities.
