Pauline Stockmann - "Lass mal über Anxiety reden". Lesung
In the organizer's words:
Anxiety is more than just fear—it describes a state of mind among the younger generation, that unpleasant emotional fog and inner tension. This book is for anyone who wants to get to the root of the causes behind that vague, threatening sense of unease. For instead of fighting our anxiety, we must learn to listen to it. Hidden behind it are feelings such as a sense of self-loss, doubt, insecurity, or anger. Through anxiety, we can better recognize what’s on our minds, integrate it into our lives, and explore the feelings behind it. This opens the door to true inner peace and self-assured responsibility for our lives.
Pauline Stockmann is a clinical psychologist currently in psychotherapy training. She worked in forensic psychology and at mental health startups before going independent in 2022 to destigmatize mental health. Through social media, her podcast “Mind Mates” with Adina Selin, and as a speaker, she breaks the social taboo surrounding mental health: It’s okay not to be okay.
