René El Khazraje, known to many as MC Rene, presents “Die ungestellte Antwort” (The Unasked Answer), an extraordinary musical reading tour that bridges literature, memory, and music. Drawing on his autobiographical narrative, he reads selected passages from his book and interweaves them with songs from the accompanying album of the same name. The readings and music enter into a dialogue, together telling a story of origins, family, identity, social mobility, failure, and the search for a sense of belonging.

The journey takes him from Braunschweig’s Weststadt district through defining moments in German hip-hop history to a belated encounter with his own father in Morocco. “Die ungestellte Antwort” is neither a traditional rap show nor an ordinary reading. It is a personal evening that bridges the gap between book and stage, between storytelling and song, between memory and the present.
