In conservative Malaysia, the mere existence of a baby hatch is still a taboo that is only talked about behind closed doors. Large sections of conservative society condemn the baby hatch as moral decay. Lai Sum, Fatimah, Kam and Nurul, dedicated workers at a baby hatch in Kuala Lumpur, navigate through a maze of social resistance to support women from different backgrounds and bring about their bodily autonomy.
