Anyone who doesn't have at least one catchy tune in their head after reading these five lines must have been hiding in the cellar for the last few decades!

For 41 years now, the Paveier have been delighting us with their hits to celebrate, sway, smile and reflect on. The band always remains true to itself, down-to-earth and close to its fans. Whether during carnival at up to 200 live performances, at their traditional concerts at the Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz or the Gloria Mitsing concerts, at appearances at summer festivals or open air events and later in the year on the popular Christmas tour with more than 20 concerts in and around Cologne. The Paveier are authentic and always ready to have fun with each other and with the fans - on stage and also in personal conversations off and behind the stage.

Every performance is characterized by an immense joy of playing that sweeps every concert-goer off their seats! The mixture of hits from the last 41 years inspires young and old, lets you indulge in nostalgia and forget the worries of the times while singing along loudly. WDR 4 listeners voted the Paveier hit "Leev Marie" number 1 in the hit parade of the best carnival songs! Since its release in 2016, the song has spent several weeks in the nationwide singles charts and returns every year during the carnival season. The video has now been viewed by almost 10 million people.

The Paveier are among the veterans of the Cologne music scene and have been firmly established in the business for four decades and with twelve legs. The founding members Detlef Vorholt, Bubi Brühl and Klaus Lückerath have succeeded very well in rejuvenating the band with the addition of Sven Welter, Johannes Gokus and Markus Steinseifer, so there is no need to worry about the band's continued existence.
